I'm a freelance Web Designer and Graphic Designer.

I live in the north of italy and I attended an Artistic School in Varese (Liceo artistico “A. Frattini”). I got an European Certification as Web Designer freelance.

How I make my web projects

These are the phases that characterize all my communication projects and are essential to guarantee to the customer a tailor-made and unique design, developed specifically for all devices, both mobile and desktop, and well indexed on search engines.

  • The first step is to gather information, by interviewing the customer, asking targeted questions. This will help to better understand the significance of the project and to establish the values and the concept to be transmitted by the brand or through the web site.

    Analysis

  • I believe that a thorough study of the company’s activities and those of their competitors as well as the research of similar offers in the vertical marketplace, can effectively improve the knowledge of all the aspects that are involved in the project, and that are indispensable to find the best solution for the design.

    Research

  • As for the marketing, I rely on reputable experts who can find out how to catch the attention of the target public, to lead people interest and to promote my customer’s presence in the web. As freelance web designer it is my duty to clearly outline in my projects what the customer can obtain from any interface.

    MARKETING

  • To internationalize and create a more effective brand the source texts as well as their translation in foreign languages must be executed in a professional way, by competent copywriters who know how to apply the keywords and expert translators who know the culture of the target language and can localize the text adapting the language to the taste of the foreign public and market.

  • All the available information is examined by sketching out the flows of creative ideas to find out the best design to realize the logo, the company’s identity and the web site.

    Sketch out the idea

  • The ideas come to life through high fidelity mock-ups, which are necessary to receive feedback, and to represent the final result. The responsive versions will be included in the web projects with previews for mobiles.

    LAYOUT DEVELOPMENT

  • When the graphic mock-ups are ready, I start to create the same layout in HTML5 and CSS3 codes, that is very efficient and re-usable. These HTML mock-ups can be implemented everywhere in CMS systems or they can be directly published because they are not immediately optimized for SEO.

    FRONTEND DEVELOPMENT

  • This is the phase dedicated to the improvements to make, the work, the slides, the animations and other components, “sparkle” so that the users’ experience is the best either on desktops or mobiles with responsive layout and customized menus.

  • A fundamental part of the job is to verify the target public’s reaction, thus I use various instruments to monitor the users’ interaction inside the web site pages. I also consider extremely useful to receive customer’s direct feedbacks. Once the test phase is completed, the project is finished.
